Here's your low key swim meet-up. 

A Lake Swim For Everyone

If you are newer to open water swimming, only want to swim a short distance or just want to meet up for a short dip, join us at 6:00 AM at the Blueberry Docks. Note that these are not coached but we're happy to share advice! We also have a paddle board available for support on the water.

Details:

  • Fridays, June 19th through the end of summer

 

What to Expect:

Arrive for 6AM. We will aim to be in the water for 6:15. We'll pick a landmark from the dock and swim to it. We'll pause for chats and to take in the sunrise colours over the mountains. Length of session can be determined by the group. Or start your swim with us and then do your own thing. 

What to bring:

  • Wetsuit (recommended) or just your swimmers if you’re brave!

  • Swim cap

  • Towel

  • Goggles

  • Warm clothes for after

  • Water to drink or rinse off (duck itch hits us mid-summer typically)

 

Getting there:

  • Free street parking nearby

  • Bike-friendly with racks/lock-up spots near the docks

Once you're a member, no sign-up necessary! Just drop in when you can make it. If you have questions drop us a note!
